My name is Dee Desmond. I am a registered Occupational Therapist, Certified Handwriting Specialist and the founder of Little Hands Handwriting Clinic. I have a pediatric background in Occupational Therapy and many years experience working with children in preschool through 8th grade. I help children develop the fundamental skills needed to perform fine motor, visual motor and visual perceptual activities. Using the Handwriting Without Tears program, I create innovative classes which focus on the skills needed to successfully master proper handwriting techniques. My clinic utilizes a multi-sensory approach integrating music, fine/gross motor activities and various manipulatives to build self-confidence and strengthen your child's little hands for a positive and successful handwriting learning experience.
