Classes

Sticks and Stones (Pre-K  Handwriting Readiness)

Ages 3 - 5

 

     Sticks and stones may break your bones, but lines and circles will guide you to building the fundamental skills needed for successful learning. Incorporating a multi-sensory approach, students use letter play, singing, drawing, tracing, coloring and counting to develop fine motor skills, proper pencil grasp, body awareness and pre-writing strokes. 

 

 

Tickle Bugs (Kindergarten Printing)

Ages 5 - 6

 

     Tickle your way to learning letter/number recognition and formation through a variety of sensory and manipulative activities. Students concentrate on proper pencil grasp and fine motor manipulation and they start using lines.

Busy Bees (1st - 2nd Grade Printing)

Ages 6 - 8

 

     Buzz on over to this  class and learn word formation, sizing, spacing, line orientation and sentence formation.

 

Leap Frogs (2nd -3rd Grade Cursive)

Ages 7 - 9

 

     Leap forward while making the transition from printing to cursive easy. Simple strategies make letter formation and connections easy to remember while maintaining legibility.

Wiggle Worms (4th - 5th Grade Cursive)

Ages 9 - 11

 

     Wiggle over to the final class to sharpen existing skills and improve speed and legibility.
